Die Versorgung Amputierter ist mittlerweile ein großer und breit gefächerter Markt.
Viele Firmen und Unternehmen forschen nach neuen Techniken und erproben immer neue
Materialien. Einen guten Eindruck davon bekam man auf der Orthopädie- und Technikmesse
im vergangenen Mai in Leipzig. Dort wurden verschiedene Neuigkeiten präsentiert, z. B.
neue Prothesenfüße, computerunterstützte Kniegelenke und myoelektronisch gesteuerte
Handprothesen. In meinem Artikel möchte ich einen kurzen Abriss zum momentanen Standard
bei den häufigsten Amputationen geben. Dies ist die Versorgung bei Unterschenkel-
und Oberschenkelamputation sowie bei Armamputation.
Abstract
The care for amputees is nowadays a big and wide ranging market involving the research
of new techniques and trials of new materials by many firms and enterprises. A more
precise picture was depicted in the Orthopaedic and Technique Fair held in May 2010
in Leipzig, Germany. The fair presented different novelties, e.g. new prosthetic feet,
computer supported artificial knee joints and myoelectronic controlled hand prostheses.
The article offers a short outline of the current standards of the most frequent amputations
entailing rehabilitation after lower and upper leg amputation as well as arm amputation.
